Paid-up members of other u3as will be welcome at HW u3a group activities at zero membership fee. Any group specific fees will apply at the same rate as full HW u3a members. For more details, please read our

Publicity Team

The Publicity Team is not a Group (it is part of Support Services). The team is responsible for all advertising and running events such as the Village Festival stand and the gazebo in the High Street [last August]. It also produces the write-ups of each Speaker Meeting for the website. 

There are only four in the team, and they could do with some extra help. If you can help, please contact Madeleine Kudlac or Peter Johnson

National Competition Success

Sarah Wood came second out of 525 entries in the National u3a Short story competition 2025 with her story "Finding the Key to Lost Memories".

Beacon

Beacon is the u3a movement’s integrated membership, groups, finance and mailing system. It’s important both to Hartley Wintney u3a and you, our member, that your information on Beacon is correct. Please check this in August each year (before membership renewals open) and remember to update it if anything changes.

If you've not already set a password, you'll be prompted to create one. As a reminder, for your own protection, passwords should be "strong" - typically at least eight characters long, contain a mixture of uppercase and lowercase letters and at least one digit.
