This is in no way a group for experienced actors. It’s just a bit of fun. Everyone gets a chance to read a part – or, more likely, several parts – and the play of the month might be a farce or a drama or a classic text. It depends on what’s available at the library with the right number of copies!

We are limited by what the library happens to have in stock at any given time. We cannot reserve books more than a month ahead.

Meetings take place on the last Thursday of the month from 2 p.m. to 4-ish at a member’s house – usually that of the group leader, Irene Airton. There’s an annual charge of £20 to pay for library fees. If you’d like to have a go, please contact Irene.
