What we do
As the name implies, the Ambles are two to three mile walks taken at a gentle pace over reasonably level ground with no stiles. Typically between 6 and 10 amblers participate.
We usually finish at a suitable hostelry for coffee/lunch.
Appropriate footwear must be worn on all ambles this means no sandals during the summer months. Long trousers should be worn to avoid tics, nettle stings and grazes.
Our long-time leaders Mary & Janey have decided to call it a day. Please contact Anne Croft if you are interested in leading the group.

The Walking Group offers longer walks on the third and fourth Tuesday mornings of the month. Walks are circular and usually finish with lunch at a pub.
